Note to my Love (Poem in English) (12/19/12)
The other day while meditating on my life,
I began to think about the most important aspect of my future:
The makings of my future wife.
While I sat there in the solitude of my thinking spot
I came across a few things that only she can spot.
As I write these down, I can't help but wonder
how can someone so incredible exist in this world?
Pen and paper I begin to write:
For that amazing woman; the better half of me.
Christian, not just in words but in action. You have brought the word
Love to a life that without you, could never have experienced it, and trust me, its
Awesome! The way you make me feel even if you don't believe me.
Unique in every way, especially when you smile, you give me the strength to continue to be
Devoted not just to you, but to our God. You make my life way more
Interesting than you can ever imagine. They way you are
Affectionate towards me makes me feel like I am on top of the world.
Tender heart, yet big enough to care for others, despite it being
Emotional. Which is great because it reminds me of how much I need you in my life.
Amazing does not begin to describe what we have together, I am yours and you are
Mine, until the day we part to heaven. Which I know is our final destination because we're
Outstanding and I am not saying this to brag,but when I think about what you mean to me
I begin to understand why King Solomon said "her price is far above rubies".
If you can see between the lines you will see my message for you, for these are the words of my heart.

Hay pocas cosas en esta vida que se pueden comparar
Al mayor deseo y anhelo de mi corazón.
La razón por la cual mi corazón late día a día
En ese día entendí que esta vida dejo de ser mía.
Cuando todo se puso oscuro y la esperanza me falto
Llegaste a mi vida para ensenarme el amor más cercano al amor divino
El amor de Madre.
En ese momento tan especial donde por fin te tuve en mis brazos y te pude ver
En ese instante, mi Dios me dio la dicha más gloriosa
En ese momento todo el dolor al igual que toda duda desvaneció de mi mente
Reflexionando un poco, me recuerdo las palabras dichas a Sara
¿Acaso hay algo imposible para Dios?
Desde antes que dieras tus primeros pasos
Le pedí a mi Dios que iluminará tu camino de todo mal
Aunque andes en valle de sombra y muerte nunca olvides
Que el señor tu Dios no te dejara llegar mal alguno
Cuando las torres cayeron y el país entero estaba en angustia
La mano de Dios te cubrió y guardo de todo mal.
Aun en los momentos mas oscuros de tu vida
Mis oraciones jamás cesaron por ti.
Hijo mío, eres bendito tu y tu descendencia.
En este día tan especial en la cual recuerdo el gozo mas grande
La felicidad que no se puede comparar con nada en esta tierra
Solo puedo darle gracias a mi Dios por haberme dado la oportunidad de ser madre
Haz sido y seguirás siendo mi niño amado y querido
Manuel, adonde sea que vayas, siempre serás bienvenido
Te digo todo esto, no solo porque eres mi hijo
sino porque eres lo mejor que me haya pasado en esta vida.
